Required ABI Data Collection File Name Modification
|
  |
All 3100, 3700, and 3730 Capillary sequencers use the underscore as the field delimiter for text and chromatogram files. dnaLIMS parses the file names with the underscore to identify the Well Plate Coordinate. Please retain the underscore as the field delimiter. Using underscores within sample and primer names throws off the parsing algorythm. Do Not use the underscore in sample or primer names. The 377 sequencer requires other modifications that are listed below. Modifying ABI 377 Data Collection File Name Delimiter Within the Run Folder, it is Required to use a Hyphen as the separation delimiter. Use the Hyphen to separate the Lane Number AND the "Sample Name Primer Name" fields of the sequence and trace files. The default file delimiter is typically a large black dot. Use the following procedure to change the large black dot to a hyphen. |
